Blarney Stone
Bismarck, North Dakota
The owners of the Blarney Stone Pub commissioned JLG Architects to develop a conceptual design for a free-standing full services restaurant/bar that takes inspiration from the original Irish downtown pub in their early 20th century in Bismarck ND. The exterior architectural character captures the feel for its use of authentic brick facades and illuminated light piers, and expansive outdoor dining seating area.
The large 8,280 s.f. bar/restaurant provides a variety of seating options and gathering spaces, and includes a mezzanine level for private gatherings and functions. The ambiance of both traditional Irish décor and contemporary accents is a key balance for the ongoing success as the Blarney Stone Pub expands its regional influence.
