Coe College Neighborhood Master Plan

Coe College is a private liberal arts four-year institution located in downtown Cedar Rapids Iowa. The College is immediately adjacent to the western edge of the Mounds View neighborhood — a community with several areas of neglected and unkempt properties. Coe College has a plan to expand their campus and, in doing so, begin the revitalization of the entire Mound View Neighborhood. JLG worked with Coe College and the Mound View Neighborhood Association to create a Masterplan for future developments.

JLG facilitated community open houses, and met privately with residents, business owners, city departments, and developers, to elicit opinions and comments in order to formulate a development plan.
