East Grand Forks City Hall

The City of East Grand Forks wanted its new City Hall to be a functional facility which allowed city agencies and departments to be collectively located for easy public use. In conjunction, pleasant and efficient work spaces needed to be provided for city employees. The close proximity to the East Grand Forks police station is an asset for those departments which interact often.

The multi-story City Hall incorporates the latest building technology to attain an energy efficient facility. Durability and ease of maintenance was a key factor in material selections. Interior spaces were left as open and flexible as possible to allow expansion and changes within and between departments. Cutting-edge audio and visual technology were installed in the meeting and conference room spaces. This project was completed by Schoen Associates prior to merging with JLG.
