Erlandson Center Renovation

Lake Region State College

Originally built in 1968, the Erlandson Technical Center has gone through a number of modifications including a 14,000 addition in 1978. The building is currently home to a number of programs including Nursing, Simulator Technology, Wind Energy, Automotive Technology, Peace Office Training and Precision Agriculture with over 130 students. The current building is 100% occupied and very undersized for the current program needs and does not allow for any future growth.

The design calls for demolition of the 1,800 square foot center infill space between the two existing buildings and minor renovations to the original building. New construction will infill between the existing buildings with a new addition to the Northwest for the relocated Nursing and CNA programs. With the renovations to the existing building, each program will have its own designated space.
