First Presbyterian Church

1st Presbyterian Church of St. Cloud asked JLG Architects to assist them with the design of a new front entrance that would address the new developments and improvements that were occurring on 4th Avenue. After a congregational-wide visioning session led by JLG, the church identified the opportunity to reach out to the young adults and families of their neighborhood. Being directly on the pedestrian route between St. Cloud State University and new housing developments, 1st Presbyterian Church is uniquely placed to interact with the young residents living in the church facility’s shadow. As an investment into their future, the congregation decided to expand their focus from just an entry to a new multipurpose youth and fellowship addition to their historic stone church structure. 1st Presbyterian Church is currently fundraising to realize their ministry / facility vision.
