The Gateway to Science Learning Center concept is a bold vision for the exploration of hands-on science and a state-of-the-art learning environment. Along with creating a signature architectural building design overlooking the Missouri River Valley, the conceptually planned 3-story facility integrates thoughtfully into the river bluff. It’s light footprint on top of the bluff preserves the magnificent River Corridor view for all who visit the front entry plaza.

The Learning Center showcases North Dakota’s vast influences in the industries of energy technology, transportation, health care, and agriculture, just to name a few. Energy efficiency and sustainable design are highlighted at the core of the building planning concepts.
