The NDSU Vic Sturlaugson Research Center contains six offices for researchers, a library and conference room, employee break room, a large meeting room to accommodate up to 180 local farmers at one time, a working/teaching kitchen and a computer lab with 20 individual stations. The facility is heavily used by the Langdon Community.

The conference room is wired to link to the NDSU teleconference system. The structure is designed to fit the agricultural context.
