North Star Electric had outgrown their facility built in the early 1960’s in Baudette Minnesota. Their desire to build a new facility with lots of “elbow room” led to the purchase of a 50 acre site and a new facility located on the US/Canadian border. The design goal was to create a facility that reflects North Star’s product – electricity. To this end the building design is clean, efficient, warm & friendly.

Office space includes: member services with product displays, a meeting room with adjacent kitchen facilities, receptionist, record storage, and both open and private administrative office areas. The vehicle shop and storage area is used for the storage of 12 service vehicles and materials.
