Perham Public Library

Perham, Minnesota

The site of the new library is on the same city block site as the existing Perham Library. This historic stone structure, built in the 1880s as an Episcopal Church, was converted to library use in 1929. It has been an important part of the community for over 100 years, and as such it was important that the new library establish a strong relationship to the existing stone-clad library which occupies the same site and will become a small historical museum. The two buildings will then become the Cultural Center of Perham.

The Perham Library project was designed by Joel Davy prior to joining JLG Architects.
