RawHyde Adventures (concept design)

Jim Hyde with RawHyde Adventures in Castaic, CA invited JLG to help him develop a concept for a nearly 100 acre parcel of desert land with the goal of creating the only multi motor sports destination center in the united states. Dual sport, dirt bikes, quads, four-wheelers, etc. would have a place dedicated to rider education, skills development and training all in one location. The site will include a nearly mile long skills training riding circuit, housing and dining facilities, main lodge with an iconic bar, a retail store, repair shop, office area, shower / restrooms, and facilities to house the many staff members who are on hand to make these courses a success.

This new complex is in the high desert of California with the closest town being California City, CA. Jim Galloway, Ty Pritchard and Michael Vetter, from JLG, spent several days on site with Jim Hyde understanding the constraints of the site, gaining insight to Jim Hyde’s vision and developing bubble diagrams to begin the design process. Over the course of several weeks the JLG team fine-tuned these concepts so Jim Hyde could unveil his dream at his Adventure Days Rally this April. In addition to the motor sport component there is also a 100 yard outdoor shooting range.
