Frogtown Recreation Center

The City of Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation is excited to move forward with the planning and design of a brand new Scheffer Recreation Center as a replacement of the existing 1970’s building. Through the Capital Improvement Budget (CIB) process, funding has been approved for planning and design of a future recreation center building and site upgrades.

Anticipated amenities of the new facility include community rooms, arts room, senior room, teen room, kitchen, Rec Check after school space, a new gym, and parking, however these are being verified through a community engagement and budget evaluation process.
