The master planning for the Swiftel Center in Brookings expands the conference and meeting spaces for the facility in order to help Compass Management and the Swiftel Center cater to a larger convention market. The current facility seats approximately 5,500 in a concert setting, but is about 20,000 sf short of large group meeting rooms and ballroom facilities.

The master plan for the Swiftel Center addresses the facility’s ability to accommodate a potentially attached hotel addition and upgrade its image and visibility in the Brookings Community.
