As one of America’s “Most Wired” health systems, Trinity Medical Center’s new Williston, ND facility seamlessly and invisibly integrates technology into all facets of its infrastructure to speed up and improve patient care delivery while lowering operating costs. Every exam room, office and nurse’s station is networked for electronic health recording to give patients and their doctors up-to-the-minute test information and real-time alerts on drug-to-drug interactions, and the Medical Records Room was designed for multiple uses with the idea that it would be eliminated in five years.

Mechanical and security systems are monitored and adjustable from Trinity’s home base in Minot in case of power outages and are projected to save thousands in optimized heating and cooling. The three-floor Trinity Medical Center includes spaces for Ophthalmology, Optometry, and an Ambulatory Surgery Center, as well as a General Practice Medical Clinic with lab and X-Ray capabilities.
