UND EERC Hydrogen Center

University of North Dakota

The National Center for Hydrogen Technology, a Center of Excellence at the Environmental and Energy Research Center (EERC), is increasing its research space to better meet the expanded needs of hydrogen research. JLG Architects was chosen to provide complete design, code analysis, and construction administration services for the project. The program includes additional laboratory space, an expanded large scale demonstration facility, and new employee spaces such as break rooms and collaboration spaces to better serve the building users.

The research space is dynamic, so JLG Architects is holding regular design discussions with the EERC team to develop flexible research spaces and ensure the spaces will meet the research requirements. Overall, this highly technical building addition will provide the EERC campus a modern facility to continue its state-of-the-art research.
