Williston sits in the epicenter of the explosive growth resulting from the technological advances in oil development in Western North Dakota. The demographic projections for the city of Williston project a total population growth of 94.7% over a seven year window.

As a result of a successful referendum vote in June of 2014, this new facility has a variety of core academic classrooms in addition to a dedicated Fine and Performing Arts spaces for Band, Vocal Arts, and Art Labs. Career Technology spaces are also configured into the main education wing.

Along with a centralized administration area, the facility features a Learning Resource Center and support areas, and Auditorium with associated dressing rooms and green room, Cafeteria with adjacent Kitchen and Servery, and a Three-Section Gymnasium with Locker Rooms, Weights and Fitness, and Cardio support spaces.

A detached Shops and Maintenance building were also planned for the school’s growing needs.
